May Day May Day – Vote Gas Out Climate Rally.
We are in a climate emergency so together we sound the distress call: May Day May Day!
It is our elected governments who allow there to be climate pollution from gas. Gas has the biggest avoidable impact on the Northern Territory’s greenhouse gas emissions, we must leave the gas in the ground. We can sack the governments who allow it to be released. We can vote gas out.
For a liveable world we must quickly stop new gas projects. We cannot afford more climate pollution: we must vote out gas-loving governments.
We can choose to vote for candidates who support swift and strenuous climate action, who will leave the gas safely in the ground whilst favouring reform for political donations and an integrity commission.
Bring your best signs to help ensure we VOTE GAS OUT! Bring your water bottles, hats and umbrellas to protect yourself because it’s getting hot in here. Bring your family and friends and spread the word. Afterwards, plan to join in the May Day march followed by a concert on the Esplanade
