Adani are laying the groundwork to dewater their catastrophic coal mine in the Galilee – preparing to drain precious groundwater. If Adani opens up the Galilee it will pave the way for fat cats Rinehart, Palmer and other companies to dig a further seven mega mines – at a time when Queensland is in massive drought and fires rage across Australia.
We have seen the power of young people in collective action calling on our elected representatives to treat climate change for what it is – a crisis.
That’s why students are bravely stepping up to do what it takes to protect their future and #StopAdani.
Will you join us on the frontline in February, as we peacefully resist Adani’s mine and take action to protect the climate?
