Join Extinction Rebellion as we go to GHD’s Sydney Office, ride the elevator up to level 15 and hold a peaceful sit-in INSIDE GHD’s HQ to demand GHD stand up and rule out any further work with Adani!
Adani is starting work on its water-guzzling, reef-killing, planet-cooking coal mine. Multinational engineering firm GHD is leading the design of the mine and is critical to Adani’s plans.
This is public declaration of our people power – we will not stand by and allow GHD to further drive the extinction crisis by clearing the precious habitat of the endangered black throated finch and digging more climate polluting coal.
Together we’re going to give GHD the opportunity to stand on the right side of history and drop Adani’s dirty project.
On Tuesday 13 August, we’re taking this message straight to the heart of GHD with a peaceful community sit-in at the company’s Sydney HQ.
We will peacefully enter the building and sit-in the middle of the GHD offices for four hours to sing songs, make speeches, educate staff, and spread our message of climate action to show GHD and the world what is at stake.
If GHD chooses to lock us out and ignore our voices, then we will take our message to the busy foyer and streets for all the world to see.
Everyone can play a role in this action – from joining the sit-in inside the building, to holding banners outside and handing flyers to staff.
