We want the Truth! Climate change is the greatest threat to our way of life. We’re in the sixth mass extinction, food production is threatened and millions of people will starve, die or be displaced by climate breakdown.
This should be front page news, but The Mercury and other media outlets are failing us in both their coverage of the crisis itself and the protest actions against it.
This week The Mercury relegated the largest rally in Hobart for decades, a strike attended globally by 4 million people, to page 18.
