Occupy the William Jolly Bridge – Rebellion Week:
By the 11th of October, we will have witnessed 4 days of continued disruptions, organised by hundreds of autonomous citizen activists.
This mass occupation of the William Jolly Bridge will be disruptive, symbolic and important – but in the days and nights before, we will need you.
You – the upstanders who are not only willing to participate, but are willing to lead.
You – who are not only willing to act, but are willing to do what it takes.
We are in an emergency.
So bring your ideas and your courage and meet at 7:30am in the Brisbane CBD every morning from the 8th to the 11th of October (watch social media for regularly updated locations/times).
We can and must disrupt business as usual – and it will require your help.
Then on Friday the 11th, line the footpaths of the William Jolly bridge at 10am and wait for the signal (it’ll be unmistakable) to walk onto the road for a simple but necessary occupation.
