This is an inclusive, community organised event for people to participate & learn more about how to Get involved in Extinction Rebellion & demand Emergency Climate Action.
XR Demands:
Tell the Truth: Government tell the truth about the climate and ecological crisis and declare a climate emergency.
Act Now: Government immediately adopt a radical emissions reduction target, one that will transition Victoria to a net-zero emissions economy by 2025, in line with a global red-line of 1.5 C of global warming.
Beyond Politics: Government must create & be led by decisions of a Citizens’ Assembly on climate & ecological justice.
