Yaama ngindaay! We are the younger warriors of the Gomeroi/Gamilaroi/Kamilaroi/Gamilaraay Nation determined to fight for our rights and for our future generations.
Our sacred homelands have been heavily impacted through numerous agricultural and mining interests, the latest being the Santos Gas Project in Narrabri and The Pilliga.
As a direct response to Environmental Minister Sussan Ley’s recent decision to make final approval on Santos to commit cultural genocide against us, on Thursday, December 3 we are holding a National Day of Action in Canberra, Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.
We are telling Santos to get the frack off our Country, for the Federal and State Governments to abolish their Cultural Heritage laws that allowed this to happen, and demand for them to meet with Gomeroi and undergo proper consultation.
