Meet on the corner of Davey and Molle Streets, Hobart, on Thursday 10th October at 4pm for a memorial and funeral procession along city streets. This is an outreach, non-disruptive action. All Extinction Rebellion acts are founded upon the principle of non-violence.
We have entered the 6th mass extinction event. We come together to mourn all the life we’ve lost, are losing and are still to lose.
We Rebel because we love this world, it breaks our hearts to see it ravaged, to watch so many people and animals all over this world already dying, to know that many millions more people and animals will die if we do not abruptly act to reduce our greenhouse gas emissions and regenerate our environment.
