The Melbourne Marine Debris Team will be completing their first clean-up at Newport Warmies on Sunday the 19th of January
Start the new year with the team as we again target those items that are polluting our marine environment.
Location: Newport Warmies (off The Strand)
Look for the Sea Shepherd Marquee set up near the boat ramp
There is parking available at the location
Registration from 9.45am
Clean-up 10.00am to 11.30am
Sorting and Counting 11.30am to 12.30pm
Pack up by 1.00pm
Please remember that this is a single use plastic free event so bring water in a reusable bottle
Be sun smart, bring along reusable gloves if you have them and
wear enclosed shoes.
We do have a supply of gloves that can be borrowed and a limited number of tongs
