Ark is one of the larger Lloyd’s of London insurers yet to rule out Adani’s coal, and they are key to cutting off Adani’s last shot at critical insurance – without Ark to lead on insurance deals, smaller Lloyd’s insurers won’t have capacity to offer climate-wrecking policies to Adani either.
Ark need to know that insuring Adani’s Carmichael coal project means helping Adani wreck our climate, destroy precious land, water and wildlife, and desecrate sacred Wangan and Jagalingou country without consent from Traditional Owners.
Let’s show Ark that it’s not worth risking our future, and their reputation, on Adani’s mess!
Together, the Stop Adani movement has already pushed 20 Lloyd’s insurers to rule out Adani. Plus, we’ve won a policy from Lloyd’s to phase out ALL coal insurance by 2030.
