Join us for a funeral procession and die-in at Rundle Mall.
Together let’s make it clear we want our governments to Choose Life. They must take immediate action on the climate crisis.
Meet at the South West corner of Hindmarsh Square at 11:45am. From there we will have a funeral procession down to the Pulteney Street entrance of Rundle Mall. In the mall a ‘die-in’ to mourn for our world and our global family.
At the die-in, we will lie on the ground as if dead, to demonstrate that our current situation is threatening humanity and all life on earth.
Bring a yoga mat to lie on as the pavers will be hard.This action involves no risk of arrest.
Our Demands:
– The government must tell the truth about the climate crisis.
– It must act now to halt biodiversity loss and reduce greenhouse gas emissions to net zero by 2025.
– The process of change must be led by a citizen’s assembly on climate and ecological justice.
