Friends of the Earth have a tradition of holding an action on the first sitting day of Parliament each year.
Sometimes it’s a big and bold rally, other years it’s pounding the pavement to flyer MPs, journos, and staffers to put climate justice and environment on the agenda.
This year the Act on Climate collective will flyer the entrances of Parliament to urge the govt to announce the Emissions Reduction Targets and get to work on the unfinished business on climate / environment policy.
We will also take a banner pic of participants to show our supporters that we’re getting back on the streets.
Please RSVP to this event if you’d like to join us on the day for this fun, simple, and effective action.
Game on.
