This protest will take place on the stolen land of the Jagera, Turrbal, Yuggera and Yugarabul peoples of Meanjin/Brisbane and surrounds, whose sovereignty was never ceded.
A national day of action has been called on this day. We are a group of people in Brisbane who want to make sure that Brisbane is included in the mobilisation.
Supporters include Climate Justice Brisbane, GetUp, School Strike 4 Climate, Australian Parents for Climate Action, and Extinction Rebellion SEQ.
We welcome all organisations and individuals who support the above demands to endorse and help organise this event.
