Join the growing climate justice movement as we walk together across the Harbour Bridge to deliver the PM a message that we demand action on bushfires, choking smoke and the climate change that is driving both.
Come to show your solidarity with the firefighters and nurses on the front line dealing with the fires and the growing health impacts.
We are calling out the failed politics of business as usual that pretends we can continue to export thermal coal, open new gas fields and cut down our native forests while still maintaining a safe planet.
Start: 11:00am First Fleet Park Circular Quay
End: 1:00pm The PMs Official Residence Kirribilli House Kirribilli
Organised by a collective of climate and social justice groups.
Accessibility: Both First Fleet Park and Kirribilli House are accessible. The march across the bridge is 3km long including a number of flights of steps most of which do not have handrails.
Ensure you bring hats, sunscreen, plenty of water and banners to get our message across.
