A bike ride from Melbourne to Canberra to demand climate action!
This is the second Climate Cycle to Canberra (CC2C) the first was a big success. This year we’re inviting people to join the convoy and pedal to our politicians doorstep to deliver a message urging of climate action + justice. It is an unsupported ride and you will need to be completely self-sufficient but it is an amazing journey and beautiful route.
Check the website for full details, but here’s an overview:
– START: 9:30am Saturday 23rd November (leaving party everyone welcome) behind the steps at Fed Square, Melbourne
– END: Sometime 10-13 days later at Parliament House, Canberra
– 1050km total, +15,553 m / -14,999 m
– Around 12 days total including 1-2 rest days
