WHY TO VOTE BLACK THROATED FINCH:
– ADANI would SNUFF OUT this bird’s existence for a short-term mega coal mine.
– The Carmichael mine will be the vanguard for the entire Galilee carbon bomb opening – it MUST be stopped.
– BIMBLEBOX NATURE REFUGE is threatened by both open cut & underground mining.
– WANGAN & JAGALINGOU traditional owners should have their land returned – currently, they face criminal charges for returning home.
– Artesian water supplies will be STRIPPED, damaging ecology and agriculture.
– Mass coal shipping will SPREAD COAL DUST through local channels.
– The Galilee will use much of humanity’s remaining Global Carbon Budget (of which ONLY 8 YEARS REMAIN).
– The Black Throated Finch will be the ONLY endangered bird left in the vote. SO, it will represent all other endangered birds in SOLIDARITY.
