The two biggest political parties (Labor and the Coalition) have failed us. They refuse to declare a climate emergency and take the action we need. They continue to promote the expansion of the fossil fuel industry even though climate chaos is already upon us and getting worse.
We are gathering together, with flags, banners and wearable signs, to tell our coal-wedded Federal MPs we have had enough of their climate-wrecking complicity and we are rebelling against them.
On Monday we’ll start by visiting Labor Senator Carol Brown’s office. We’ll be visible, making noise, delivering a formal message to her, and handing flyers to passers-by. Flags and signs will be available. Bring drums if you like. Come and join us!
